I have no experience in voice specialties, but I wonder if a person's mother tongue affects how you sing in another language. Particularly the space used for vowels. Angelina Jordan started singing in English at young age so she may not be a good example of this, but I've always wonder.

Any Lee sounds just as good live as she does in studio. That’s my opinion from watching many of her shows. In this particular performance it sounds like she didn’t warm up her voice enough or at all. I personally have to warm up my voice minimum thirty minutes to be able to hit very high, sustain the notes, and be able to get through song without losing power halfway through. I’m not sure if profesional singers warm up their voice before performances but they should.
